Floor Jansen

Floor Jansen, known from the multi-platinum band Nightwish and the symphonic metal band After Forever, brings her impressive solo show Strijdlust: A Personal Story to Muziekgebouw Eindhoven. With her powerful voice and personal stories, Floor offers an evening full of emotion and music that transcends genres. In 2019, she reached a wide audience in the Netherlands through her appearance on Beste Zangers, where she performed “The Phantom of the Opera” together with Henk Poort. Her solo career quickly gained momentum, leading to the release of her long-awaited debut album “PARAGON” in 2023, followed by a sold-out tour across the Netherlands, Germany, Switzerland, and Austria. In this intimate show, Floor shares her personal story of recovery from breast cancer and the balance between motherhood and career—through words and, of course, music.
